President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) awarded Satyalancana Karya Satya Honorary Award to 74 exemplary State Civil Servants (ASN) in Jayawijaya Regency, Papua Province.
Quoted from Antara, the award of honor was handed over symbolically by Jayawijaya Vice Regent, John R Banua, to State Civil Servants who has served 10 years, 20 years and 30 years, in the ceremony field of Jayawijaya Regent Office on Wednesday (29/11). The award is given to coincide with the ceremony of the 46th anniversary of the Corps of the Republic of Indonesia (Korpri).
Vice Regent John invites State Civil Servants to undertake the task without coercion and with full responsibility. “We hope that in carrying out our daily duties as ASN, we do not need to be coerced by the leaders anymore, but it has become an obligation for every ASN to serve the community in their respective offices,” said John.
In the same place, ASN coach Jayawijaya, Yohanis Walilo, expects the award given by the President to a number of ASN can use as a motivation for them in carrying out the ministry duties. “The rewards earned with the work must be the same, so we hope that the rewards can improve our performance. Expected from the results of our hard work, this can provide maximum results to the community,” he said.
Meanwhile, Papua Governor Lukas Enembe explained that as an ASN must have duties and responsibilities in accordance with the employee corps that is read every ceremony. “For that, ASN should be a good example in discipline and public service so that it can apply the employee corps which has been read in every ceremony,” he said.
To other ASNs who have not yet obtained an award, are required to improve their work ethic in a professional, disciplined, and integrity to carry out the tasks that have been given by the state. The awarding of Satyalancana Karya Satya‘s is an honorific award as a tribute to ASN or civil servants who have worked faithfully to Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, the state, and government and work with full dedication, honesty, skill, and discipline continuously at least for those who have served for 10 years, 20 years and 30 years.
